I like to spend my free time thinking about creative use cases of the latest AI product development tools. Here are some web apps I built recently.
Do reach out if you have any suggestions for any of the apps or if you would like to collaborate!

Noon – Product Manager II
As a Product Manager at Noon – the Middle East’s largest ecommerce company – I have been involved in several projects from idea to execution.
Gamification and Engagement Features: I shipped end-to-end features across search and discovery, personalized product listing algorithms, wishlists, and discounts, with a focus on customer retention as the north star metric.
Techincal Refactor: In 2023, Noon acquired one of the largest fashion e-commerce players in the region, Namshi. I helped rewrite Namshi’s backend architecture to make it compatible with Noon’s exisitng e-commerce infrastucture.
Size Prediction algorithm: Most recently, I developed a size prediction algorithm to personalize the user shopping experience. I wrote the algorithm using SQL, Python, and JavaScript.

Algodriven – Business Analyst
Prior to working at Noon, I worked at Algodriven – an automotive company that uses data and AI to identify and price used vehicles.
My role comprised of creating a strategy and pitch for the startup in order to raise their series B venture capital round.
Towards the end of my stint at Algodriven, I familiarized myself with the codebase and product thereby acquiring a robust understanding of data structures, RESTful APIs, and MySQL databases.

Foundations of Humane Technology Course
I enrolled in an online course offered by the Center for Humane Technology – a nonprofit organization that advcoates for technology that supports our wellbeing, democracy, and shared reality.
As part of the course, I enhanced my tech-for-good toolkit by completing modules on human-centered design, fairness & justice in big data algorithms, and the societal interactions of technology and human nature
The course helped me understand that it’s not about technology being an existential threat, it’s about the technology’s ability to bring out the worst in society, and that society being the existential threat.
